California Privacy Notice.

Last updated: August 28, 2026

This notice explains the privacy rights California residents have in relation to eigenkor.com, and how eigenKOR handles personal information. It supplements our Privacy Policy and uses the terms the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, uses.

A note on why this exists. Based on our size and how we operate, eigenKOR is very likely below the thresholds that make a company a “business” under the CCPA. We publish this notice and honor these rights anyway, as a matter of policy, because we would rather give you the protection than argue about whether we owe it to you.

The Short Version

  • We do not sell your personal information, and never have.
  • We do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
  • We do not collect sensitive personal information.
  • We do not use your information to train AI models.
  • Analytics run only if you say yes. Decline and nothing loads.
  • Everything else is below.

What We Collect, And Why

We collect two things: what you type into our contact form, and limited technical information about your visit. There is no login on this website, so there is no account and no profile.

The categories below use the CCPA’s own list. “Yes” means we have collected it in the last twelve months.

CCPA categoryCollectedWhat, specifically
A. IdentifiersYesYour name, email address and phone number from the contact form. Your IP address and online identifiers from server logs and, with your consent, analytics.
B. Customer records (Cal. Civ. Code §1798.80(e))YesYour name, telephone number, and the city and state of your business.
C. Protected classificationsNoWe never ask, and never infer.
D. Commercial informationNoNothing is sold on this website. We hold no purchase or consumption history.
E. Biometric informationNo
F. Internet or network activityYes, with consentWhich pages you viewed and how you moved through the site. Collected only if you accept analytics cookies.
G. Geolocation dataApproximate onlyCoarse location derived from your IP address by analytics, and the business city and state you type into the form. We do not collect precise location.
H. Sensory dataNoNo audio, video or similar recordings.
I. Professional or employment informationYesYour business name, and whatever you tell us about your business in your message.
J. Non-public education informationNo
K. InferencesNoWe do not build profiles or score visitors.

Sensitive personal information

We collect none. Not government identifiers, not financial account details, not precise geolocation, not race or ethnicity, not religious or philosophical beliefs, not union membership, not the contents of your mail or messages, not genetic or biometric data, not health information, and nothing about your sex life or sexual orientation.

Because we collect no sensitive personal information, the right to limit its use — described below — has nothing to operate on. We list it anyway so you know it exists.

Where it comes from

  • Directly from you, when you fill in the contact form.
  • Automatically from your device, through ordinary server logging.
  • From our analytics provider, but only if you have accepted analytics cookies.

Why we collect it

To read and answer your enquiry, to scope possible work, to keep the site running and secure, to tell real enquiries from automated spam, and — with your consent — to understand which pages are useful so we can improve them.

We will not use your information for a materially different purpose without telling you first.

How Long We Keep It

CPRA requires us to state a retention period, or the criteria we use to set one, for each category.

WhatHow long
Contact-form submissions that do not become client workTwo years from the date of submission, unless you ask us to delete it sooner
Records relating to client workFor the engagement, then as long as we must keep business and tax records
Server logsA short operational period, then overwritten
Analytics data14 months — our analytics retention setting

We do not keep personal information longer than needed for the purpose it was collected for, except where the law requires it or where we need it to establish or defend a legal claim.

Who We Disclose It To

In the last twelve months we have disclosed personal information for a business purpose to the following, each acting as a service provider under contract, each barred from using it for anything but the service they provide us:

WhoWhat they getWhat for
Google LLCCategory A and F, and approximate locationWebsite analytics — only if you accept analytics cookies
Cloudflare, Inc.IP address and technical browser signalsSpam and bot protection on the contact form
ResendYour contact-form submissionDelivering and storing your enquiry so we can reply

Beyond these, we disclose personal information only to professional advisers bound by confidentiality, and where compelled by valid legal process. If we are ever compelled to hand over your information, we will tell you unless the law forbids it.

Sale and sharing

In the last twelve months we have sold no personal information, and shared none for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not have a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link because there is nothing for it to switch off.

We also do not use personal information to train artificial intelligence models. eigenKOR works on how AI systems describe businesses; we do not feed our visitors’ information into them.

Your Rights

California residents have the following rights. We extend them to everyone who contacts us, wherever they live.

Right to know. Ask us what categories of personal information we have collected, where it came from, why we collected it, who we disclosed it to, and the specific pieces we hold about you.

Right to know beyond twelve months. For information collected on or after 1 January 2022, you may ask about the whole period, not just the last year — unless doing so would be impossible or would take disproportionate effort, in which case we will tell you why.

Right to delete. Ask us to delete what we hold. We may keep what we need to complete something you asked for, to detect security incidents, to comply with a legal obligation, or to establish or defend a legal claim — and we will tell you which applies.

Right to correct. Ask us to fix personal information that is inaccurate. We will correct it unless we have good reason to believe the existing information is right, and we will tell you if so.

Right to opt out of sale or sharing. We sell nothing and share nothing, so there is nothing to opt out of. The right stands regardless, and if that ever changes we will publish the mechanism before it does.

Right to limit the use of sensitive personal information. We collect none, so this has nothing to operate on.

Right to non-discrimination. We will not deny you service, charge you a different price, give you a lesser standard of service, or refuse to work with you because you exercised any of these rights. We operate no financial incentive programmes.

How To Exercise Your Rights

Email team@eigenkor.com and tell us what you want. You may also call (832) 303-9670.

What happens next. We will acknowledge within 10 business days and complete the request within 45 days. If a request is genuinely complex we may take a further 45 days, and we will tell you why before we do. There is no charge.

Verifying who you are. We will ask you to confirm your identity before we act — usually just replying from the email address that submitted the enquiry, or confirming details we already hold. We ask for this to protect you, not to obstruct you. If we cannot verify you, we will tell you why rather than ignoring the request.

Authorised agents. Someone may make a request on your behalf if they give us written permission signed by you, or a valid power of attorney. We may still ask you to confirm directly that you authorised it.

If we say no. We will explain why in writing. You may reply to ask us to reconsider, and a person other than the one who made the first decision will look at it.

Separately, analytics on this site are opt-in. Nothing loads until you choose. You can change your mind at any time using Cookie Settings in the site footer.

Children

This website is for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18, and we do not sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 — because we do not sell or share any personal information at all.

Changes To This Notice

If we change this notice we will update the date at the top and post the new version here. CPRA requires this notice to be reviewed and updated at least once every twelve months, and we will do that whether or not anything has changed.
